The neck brace was commissioned by both the National Football Museum and North Hertfordshire Museum.

Scold’s Bridle of the 17th century. Used as a punishment for a “Scold” (a female gossip or Witch)  When the muzzle was locked over her head it prevented her from speaking

The Scold’s Bridle was commissioned for the Civil War Museum.
